Breaking news, GladFans! Just announced: two brand-new Gladiators are storming into the arena for BBC Gladiators Series 2. Prepare yourselves for impact as Cyclone and Hammer join the lineup.
The long-awaited return of the show kicks off on Saturday 18th January at 5:50pm on BBC One and iPlayer, promising bigger battles, tougher competition, and these two new powerhouses ready to blow away the opposition.
Who Are the New Gladiators?
Cyclone
Warning! There’s a Cyclone coming… At just 23 years old, Cyclone (Lystus Ebosele) is a whirlwind of destruction set to blow away the competition. As an Irish powerlifter standing 5’10” tall, she combines strength, determination, and awesome power. Nothing will get in her way.

Hammer
Feel the full force of Hammer! Combining strength, speed, and luscious long locks, Hammer (Tom Wilson) is a 32-year-old World Rowing Champion from Nottingham. At 6’5” and weighing 19 stone, Hammer is set to crush the opposition with his incredible power and precision.
When you’ve got 19 stone sprinting at you, you’ve got no chance. I’m getting you.

Cyclone and Hammer join an incredible lineup of returning Gladiators, including Apollo, Athena, Bionic, Comet, Diamond, Dynamite, Electro, Fire, Fury, Giant, Legend, Nitro, Phantom, Sabre, Steel, and Viper.
With this stellar lineup and the addition of Cyclone and Hammer, Series 2 is shaping up to be one of the most action-packed yet.
