Classic Swedish Gladiators
The original series of Swedish Gladiators (Gladiatorerna) ran for 5 series on TV4 from 2000 until 2004. The TV set was actually the former UK Gladiators set and was transported to Sweden once the UK show had ceased filming. The show was filmed in various locations around Sweden, including Borlänge, Växjö and Sundsvall.

Swedish Gladiators Revival
Swedish Gladiators returned to television screens in 2012 and was again broadcast on TV4. The relaunch, which has been recorded in Karlstad and Sundsvall, featured some familiar faces from the original series. This version has been one of the most successful relaunch of the Gladiators concept, with 6 successful series to date.
